HOUSTON - Harris County investigators recovered nearly $1 million worth of meth-laced lollipops during seizure Monday in a north Spring neighborhood.

Deputies were responding to a call about a burglary to a home in the 9200 block of Wallingham Drive at Colony Creek subdivision.
Deputies said two suspects, Evonne Mick and David Salinas were caught leaving the residence and loading a vehicle with the drug-laced candy. Investigators said they found bags of the drugs loaded into the back seat of the vehicle. Deputies said the suspects couldn’t even close the door because there were so many drugs packed into the vehicle. Investigators believe a great deal of meth is being distributed on the streets of Harris County in the form of candy. Deputies said the seizure happened near a school and fear these drugs are targeted towards children.  Deputies said the lollipops had several designs like "Batman," Yoda from "Star Wars," and there were butterfly-  and flower-shaped candies. Each lollipop could be sold from $20 to $40, depending on the size.

Investigators believe there are more possible suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
